New Hope

A new hope comes to the poet
And thoughts and words fill the mind
An old idea for a book returns
Though it was abandoned years ago

Slowly there is the vision of a form
Chapters and sections organized in the mind
Though it would be difficult to explain
Hopefully the form will come

Time has passed
Learning the order of the words
Experimenting with a few lines
Hoping the example will scale

A few words to bring peace to the day
And a little more knowledge for tomorrow.
