Scheduling seems impossible
Plans can be made and broken
We expect and do not see
A plan is so very fragile

Touching so little, how can we know the next moment?
We anticipate what might or might not be
Perhaps we can move statistics
Yet promises are impossible

Yet I say today I will see friends,
Tomorrow I will study and prepare
The deadline will be met
I will seek and find

Through the futility, plans are accomplished
Without touching the future, it is affected
Time keeps flowing
A light touch on this moment influences those to come

What am I but a breath
Yet the breath continues to blow
Though nothing today, it brings a storm tomorrow
As impossible to stop as it seemed impossible to start

A moment is spent writing on the calendar
Deciding how and where to breathe
When comes as it comes
God willing, it comes according to schedule
